Tunbosun Aiyedehin aka Tuby, is an AMVCA 2016 winner and a BON award nominee as best supporting actress. She has had the passion for acting and singing right from her days in Corona school.  She has taken part in many concerts and been in various choirs while her roles in the Business Admin drama Group of her faculty at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria eventually became the launch-pad.

About Me

She’s in MNET’s current series, “Unbroken” and “Unmarried”. She has also featured in Mnets favorite series, HUSH. She was also in EVE, Fo rbidden and Hustle -all MNET’s productions. Catch her in the multi award-winning movie 93 days the Ebola story, Two brides and a baby”, Champions of Our Time and HAKKUNDE. 

 

Shes also in the very dramatic series Before 30, ELTVs The Governor, Shuga” and 2four7 – an MNET production. She had her footprints in the highly rated African series of all time Tinsel and with the undying love of a mother in Finishing Strong and the compassionate doctor in Life Begins and in the hilarious HM Tours- ELTV Shorts. Switching roles from a high-class society woman to that of a wretched woman, impossible mother in-law and an overzealous house girl has always been fun to her.

 

All these amazing traits of hers are displayed in her numerous works as could be seen in The Bovi Ugboma Show (TBUS), Madam Sarahs House“ for ELTV, Desperate Housegirls, School, Mama Put, “Ego Boyos 30 days, “Undercover” Emem Isongs Lonely Heart and About to Wed, just to mention a few. Some of her other major jobs are: A Day With Death - won the best short film in the AMVCA 2016, Them &Us, Mrs. & Mrs. Johnson, Schemers and the very popular TV series Lekki Wives.

 

Beyond her acting roles, She has been part of TV Commercials such as Maggi  Naija pot and  Aminomin blood tonic and also as a model for STANBIC IBTC Bank PLC, 2014. She has a fantastic voice when she handles the microphone as a voice over artiste while you may be surprised to discover that she is also a speech facilitator.

Recently she was nominated for best supporting actress Africa, in the movie category at the TORONTO INTERNATIONAL NOLLYWOOD FILM FESTIVAL 2020.
